Here's a link to a band a couple of my former students are in. I taught the lead singer/lead guitarist lessons from when he was about 11 to when he was about 18 (an hour a week, in case you're wondering what it takes!) and to the bass player for about a year. Now they've got a record deal and this video, have toured the US and are working on conquering the rest of the world, no doubt.
Here's a link to another band that a couple of my students are in as well--Lead Guitarist and vocalist Craig Brodhead and his brother, bassist and lead vocalist Chris Brodhead. "Torpid Robot" (One of the songs that is posted as I type) is one of my favorites of the many songs this band ever wrote, but on their song "Veranda" (also currently posted) I arranged the vocal harmonies, coached the female vocalist, and sang on the chorus myself.
